How we review AI replies before they reach customers

Published on March 1, 2025

Customers expect fast answers—but also accuracy, tone, and compliance with your policies. At Humane Plus, we treat every AI-generated reply as something that must earn the right to be sent.

Before a draft goes out, it is evaluated along multiple dimensions that reflect real-world risk: legal and policy sensitivity, financial impact, alignment with your rules, and whether the tone matches how you want to sound. Those signals are combined in a structured way so decisions are consistent—not left to a single subjective guess.

Critically, the final call on whether a situation needs human review is enforced by our systems. We do not rely on the same model that wrote the draft to "grade its own homework" for that decision. When scores exceed what your configuration allows, or when the system cannot complete a check reliably, we default to escalation. That fail-safe means a doubtful reply is far more likely to land in your queue than in a customer's inbox.

This approach pairs well with human-in-the-loop workflows: your team stays sovereign over edge cases, refunds, and delicate wording, while routine conversations can move quickly. The goal is confidence at scale—customers feel heard, and you stay in control.
